Infant Chris & Christy’s All Season PJ Bottoms by Snuggle My Baby Patterns has just been released today! Just like the Kid’s Sized pattern, these are a simple to sew unisex pair of pj bottoms. This is a year round pattern and can be made from wovens, flannel or fleece to keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. They can be made in three lengths-shorts, capri and long length. And the infant girls can even be made with a ruffled butt! The pattern includes sizes from 0-3 months to 18-24 months. I made a pair of the long length in 0-3 months and start to finish was less than a half hour.
The directions are very clear and concised with pictures to follow step by step along the way making this is a perfect pattern for both beginners and advanced seamstresses alike! But these don’t have to be just pj pants, they’re so comfy you can wear them all day. Bryce is just chillin’ in his pants! His are a flannel backed cotton. Make a coordinating onsie and he has a complete outfit to wear! You can make an entire wardrobe of these pants in just a few hours!
And with the matching Chris & Christy’s All Season PJ Bottoms 2T-12 you can make all the kids matching pants.
The Infants Chris and Christy’s All Season PJ Bottoms are introductory priced for just a short while!
Melissa Prendergast has done it again! Another beautiful dress & tunic pattern. Bella Sunshine Patterns has released their Sweet Lilly Pintuck Dress & Tunic. This pattern is a vintage style dress or tunic.
What makes is special are all the details! Pintucks on the semi-fitted bodice, fabric ruffling on the center panel of the bodice and sleeves, buttons down the bodice front, ruffles on the bottom. It all makes the dress girly without going over the top! The neckline is understitched so there isn’t any extra stitching visable to take away from all the details. The bodice is lined so no itchy edges against the body! The bodice back is button up (more details) but the dress is easy to get off and on because of the continous skirt placket.
It looks hard, but the instructions are very detailed and easy to follow. Take your time and go step by step and the results are amazing! Make sure to measure your child carefully. The trickiest part is once the pintucks are in you need to make sure the front bodice is the same size as the lining. Mark your pintucks carefully and make sure each one is folded on the line and stitched on the line. These are all included in the instructions!
This dress is truly versatile. There are two skirt lengths in this pattern-make a dress or tunic for pants or leggings or even use as a short dress. Just a simple change in the fabrics turns it into a totally different look! Dressy enough for a wedding or church, but just as at home in school or for play. We already have fabrics picked for our next one!
And Melissa is so generous that not only is the pattern being released for $5.97, the entire Bella Sunshine Designs website is on sale for 40% off. Sale ends 9/10/15
